About Colleen Monroe

Colleen Monroe is the founder of the new apparel company, Flora Loom (floraloom.com). As an urban adventurer navigating swiftly changing design jobs, she decided to develop clothing that was durable and stylish for the transient lifestyles of creative professionals. Colleen began her fashion pursuits working in costume design for Emmy and Oscar Award-Winning film and TV in New York and now her home of Los Angeles. She also enjoys hosting events on design and has spoken on creativity and entrepreneurship for high school programs and college seminars, including at UCLA and Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
