Wedding Dance

It is always such an incredible blessing to witness creativity paired with an opportunity to give back. This weekend,  a friend of mine, Matt Carman, who is the Co-Editor, ‘I Love Bad Movies‘ / Co-Organizer, Brooklyn Zine Fest / Editor, ‘Come on Down: True Game Show Tales‘ (obviously, a man of many talents), is hosting a party with a purpose to commemorate his 1-year wedding anniversary, and everyone is invited!

Here is more info and the official invite from Matt Carman:

Love 146 Fundraiser Flyer

Our one-year anniversary is coming up this weekend, and we want to celebrate it with YOU! To ring in the big oh-one the right way, we’re DJing a dance party that’s also a fundraiser for Love146, the non-profit organization fighting against sex trafficking of children around the world. They do incredible and often dangerous work, and this is our small way of helping them in their mission.

We’ll be spinning tunes from the ’60s, ’90s, and every album One Direction has released (just kidding [maybe]), and we’ll definitely take requests, so long as you request something from the Grease 2 soundtrack. For real, it’s going to be a very fun time, and we look forward to dancing with you on the very same floor where we celebrated our matrimonial union.

Dance Party DJ’d by Matt & Kseniya
Saturday, May 17th
8pm to 11pm (the flyer says 10:30, but we’ll be dropping sonic bombs all the way until noise curfew!)

$10.46 suggested donation (all of which goes to Love146)
Wine, Brooklyn Brewery beer, and snacks available for donation to keep you moving

Let’s do this again!
