Conscious Magazine is off to an awesome 2014 start. The year so far has brought many new opportunities to continue to share great stories that make a difference. I wanted to spotlight a few things that I am very excited about so far and ways that you can get involved in our journey.

TEDX Vancouver
We were invited to cover the TED2014 conference in Vancouver, a city that boasts a thriving spirit of innovation. TED2014 will be held at the world’s most eco-friendly meeting venue — a convention center positioned directly on Burrard Inlet.  Read more about TED2014 here.

Conscious X California
If you haven’t  already heard, we officially announced that the next print issue will be dedicated to California. We’re looking for a few more creatives and writers to collaborate with, so if that’s you, then please let us know.

Tell Your Story
During the last week of January, we released our first-ever “Tell Your Story” feature where we addressed the topic of adoption, which you can read about here. If you want to tell your story or become a guest contributor, find out how.

Boutiques, Shops…
We’re jumping into the next phase of Conscious Magazine – stockists. We’re looking for suggestions for boutiques, shops, or stores in your neighborhood that would be a great fit to stock Conscious Magazine. Connect with us through our contact page.

Conscious Magazine x Artifact Uprising
Personally, I love brands that give back and produce goods that are not harmful to the environment, which is why I loved the chance to collaborate a giveaway with Artifact Uprising. Based out of Colorado, they are redefining the print industry by using 100% recycled papers that is absolutely beautiful. If you haven’t checked them out yet, I highly recommend it.

Real Stories / Real Impact
We are building a media company that strives to make a difference by telling stories that matter, that addresses local and global concerns and informs our readers on how to become part of creating solutions. Our mission is to build up the next generation of storytellers who make a difference. We hope you will support our platform by subscribing to Conscious Magazine or helping us get the word out there.
