Welcome! We are so excited to share our Editorial Collaborators program with you.
The vision: To build a community of writers who are influential leaders, advocates, nonprofit organizations, social enterprises, media partners, and more to lead the conversation when it comes to the latest in conscious culture. To share about the big ideas, the problems, the solutions, and engage our readers with educational awareness of where our world is today.
This is done by producing a column on consciousmagazine.co highlighting nonprofit work, innovative ideas, providing educational tips / how to's, and more. Check out our current list of Editorial Collaborators (ECs) here. We also want to give our Editorial Collaborators the opportunity to share about the organizations they are involved in, while gaining the attention of our Conscious readers, and building community around their column.
How It Works
1. ECs produce a monthly column on consciousmagazine.co. (6-month commitment, 1 article / mo).
2. ECs are introduced to our readers through Social Media, Newsletters, Conscious Community Blog Posts, and more.
3. ECs receive a bio and photo attached to the articles they produce
4. EC’s submit stories on the same day of every month (close to)
5. EC’s submit stories via our Submittable Form
6. EC stories are promoted through our social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest
7. Reposting, ECs may repost a snippet of their article on their website with a “read more” link back to the full article on consciousmagazine.co
8. Marketing, to build community, we encourage ECs to share about their newly launched column and the stories they publish on consciousmagazine.co.
9. EC's may request that we share about a campaign, new product, event, etc. outside of the monthly column, but please inquire about our advertising costs, which will be discounted.
Editorial Guidelines
1. Take a Creative, educational, and conversational style to your writing
2. Submit between 300 - 500 Words. Longer articles may be approved
3. Include links when mentioning websites. Included social media links
