Conscious is a magazine about social good, innovation, and global initiatives. We collaborate with leaders to deliver stories that matter. We publish this magazine to change the conversation in hopes that our stories will inspire, educate and drive action.

When we launched Conscious, we set out to do one thing ­tell Real Stories with Real Impact. Why? We found that media grabbed our attention because of their sensationalistic coverage, celebrity gossip, and ways of setting an unattainable standard for every area of life. As we present our real stories, we want to do something different, we want to encourage readers to use the information we share in an action driven way to impact our communities and contribute to our world in need.

FIRST, we looked at the problem
One, we looked at the current media landscape and were tired of sensationalistic news and celebrity gossip. We wanted more solutions journalism. Two, there are so many people and organizations creating  impact in their community, yet we never hear their stories. We set out to tell them. Three, our peers have shared that they want to get involved, but don’t know how or where to start.

SECOND, we saw the opportunity
One, we get to be part of a growing community of social do-gooders and millennials. Two, media has the power to expand geographically. Three, we get to be part of documenting history

THIRD, we found our mission. We are going to make a difference through media by producing honest media, but first we have to change the conversation, and so, we need your help.
