In closing, we are on a mission. This year, we launched Conscious with the purpose of telling stories about culture, people, and community that make a difference and highlight conscious culture as a movement. We wanted to be a different kind of media – one that uplifts the culture, challenges us to take action where it is needed, and is educational to keep us informed about what is happening from local communities to causes around the world. You have helped us achieve all of this – as readers, innovators, social entrepreneurs, and influential voices. We set out to change the conversation and deliver honest storytelling. We’re not about sensational headlines because we’re not interested in luring you in to gain your attention for a few seconds. No, we believe you have the power and a voice to make a difference, which is why we share stories of real problems and impactful solutions. We know everyone has the gift of potential, and we want to encourage you through the stories we tell to go after it. You can make a difference and change the world. We also wanted to begin building the blocks of our mission to build up the community, and we are taking a steps to get there.

What’s next? Our goal is to continue producing the print, growing our distribution across the world, and launching a program to help teens develop their writing skills so they can become the next generation of storytellers that make a a difference. So, let’s keep building, but first, let’s celebrate what is most important – you! You inspire us.
