why
Conscious, to us, means to take action. In today’s society where complacency runs deep, we want to position ourselves to be an inspiration for others. We have a universal message that draws from the good in the culture.  At Conscious, we are inspired by remarkable people, and so we set out to tell stories that highlight real human interactions and human dignity, and we call it stories that matter.

We live in what is easily viewed as a “self-entitled” society. With words like greed, self-centeredness, shallowness, and idleness being evident based on human behavior, we find these lifestyle choices do more harm than good leaving us feeling empty, discontent, comparing ourselves, and craving for “what else.” All of this takes away from doing remarkable things, no matter if it’s big or small. When we stop to really evaluate what’s around us instead of just focusing on “me”, we witness a world of tragedy, pain, suffering, and injustice, but also a world of love, service, and inspiring ideas. At Conscious, we believe there is a point in all of our lives when we say, “I just can’t sit idly by, I need to do something – what can I do, how can I help, where do I start?” This is why Conscious exists, we hope our stories open doors to discover new passions, perspective, purpose, and to inspire us to become the best of who we already are and make a positive impact in the world despite our pasts, circumstances, and surroundings.

With all of this in mind, we’ve decided to introduce a NEW conversation: one that talks about individual, local, and global concerns. One that pays attention to the needs around us. One that gets excited about individuals, nonprofits, and businesses who rally to make a difference in their community and around the world. Conscious is bringing these stories to the forefront so that we may be inspired… so that we may learn… so that we may be encouraged to take action and make a difference. We ask that you join us and seize an amazing opportunity to become part of the change in the world that we all wish to see.

Now that you can see  where we are coming from, is this something you agree with? Yes? No? We’d love to know why.
