poets
Think poetry is reserved for coffeehouses and lecture halls? Think again. The Pop Up Poets, a group of teachers, writers and of course, poets, travel around New York City and make this art form accessible to everyone. Be it the streets of Times Square or a crowded Q Train, the whole borough is a stage for the group. You never know which public place the poets will turn up next!

Poets in Unexpected Places co-created by Danielle Valente and Karen Petree.
