Summer Kick Off Fundraiser with Da Terra Brasil Foundation

Swing by for an evening of great fund an a chance to win raffle prizes!  The Da Terra Brasil Foundation is a 501(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of poor and marginalized communities in Brazil.

The Color Run
Date: July 06 and July 07
Location:  Aviator Sports in Brooklyn
The Color Run™, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community.  Each race supports a local charity.  For New York it is the Children’s Cancer and Blood Foundation.

2nd Annual Edeyo Gives Hope Gala
Date: July 10
Location:  Highline Ballroom, 431 W 16th Street
Experience the vibrant culture of Haitian art, music and cuisine at the 2nd Annual Edeyo Gives Hope Ball on Wednesday, July 10th at the Highline Ballroom (431 W 16th Street). Hosted by Unik Ernest and emceed by Gary Dourdan, the gala will include a special guest performance by Grammy Award winning recording artist, Bridget Kelly, and a live auction where guests can bid on items ranging from Super Bowl tickets, to a weekend rental of a rare super car. The Edeyo Foundation is focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children in Haiti by providing education, proper nourishment, and health care.

Cocktail Fundraiser for the Elanor Roosevelt Leadership Center

Please join the Young Friends of the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Center (ERLC) for a cocktail party and fundraiser. Tickets include an open bar, light menu, music, dancing and an opportunity to mingle with other young professionals. We promise a fun time will be had by all.

I’m From Driftwood BBQ

Worldfund Summer Fiesta

Palestine Children’s Relief Fundraiser

Our Chapter’s 1st ever Ramadan Iftar Dinner to help children with heart disease in Gaza.

5th Annual Midsummer Night’s Booze Cruise

Location:  The Jewel, 23rd Street Pier
This 3-hour tour around the NYC harbor will include an open bar, a band and DJ, great raffles and lots of good karma for supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! And new for 2013, the suggested cruise attire is nautical themed! So shine up those boat shoes, dust off your sailor suit and bust out the stripes!! FLEET WEEK LIVES ON!

The Moonwalk New York
Date: July 20
Location:  Randall’s Island
Join us for The MoonWalk New York City, presented by Empire BlueCross BlueShield. It’s the global sensation coming to America for the first time. Power Walk a Full Moon (26.2 miles) or Half Moon (13.1 miles) overnight in a decorated bra, all to raise awareness and funds towards Breast Cancer initiatives at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

MS Spin for a Cure

Location:  Flywheel, 470 Columbus Avenue
MS Hope for a Cure, Flywheel and the New York City – Southern New York Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society have partnered for an exciting indoor cycling event. For one night only, on Sunday, July 21, MS Spin for a Cure will raise awareness and critical funds for multiple sclerosis research.
