A Night on the River
Date:

Location:  Beekman Beer Garden, 89 South Street
Join us for the 2nd Annual A Night on the River – An evening of fun and dancing to support the Lustgarten Foundation and pancreatic cancer research. The event will be hosted at the Beekman Beer Garden Beach club on Thursday, August 1st from 8:30-11:30PM. Sip cocktails from the top shelf open bar, dance, win raffle prizes, and admire the view with friends new and old.

New York Made
Date: August 3
Location:  Governor’s Island
A one-of-a-kind, daytime to nighttime summer benefit event at Governor’s Beach Club on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. New York Made’s A-list lineup highlights the Big Apple’s own with Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone, Wolf + Lamb and Sleepy & Boo, with special guest and honorary New Yorker, John Digweed. The proceeds from the event will be contributed to three NYC local charities- the Bronx Museum of the Arts, the Mariachi Academy of New York, and the Urban Farm program of Randall’s Island Park Alliance.

Young Philanthropists Summer Fundraiser

Please join us for our second annual summer happy hour! This time at Chelsea Manor. Wednesday August 7th beginning at 5 PM Chelsea Manor 138 West 25th Street New York City Once again, we will have a fabulously talented psychic, Dana Marie Clairvoyant, available to help us predict our futures! $10 cash donation at door helps support cutie pies in need. 10% of all food/drink sales will be donated back to Maya’s Hope and there will be a special surprise Maya’s Hope Cocktail!

2013 Summer Social Benefit for Special Olympics

The 7th annual Junior Committee Summer Social will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Marquee, 8:00-11:00pm, to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics New York. Come on out! The Special Olympics Junior Committee created an event bringing together well over 500 New Yorkers to enjoy an enchanting evening of music, dining, cocktails, dancing and a silent auction –to show support for the athletes of Special Olympics New York. We deeply appreciate the patronage from our guests — Hope to see YOU in August!!

Y Interact’s 4 for 40. Celebrating Four Non-Profits for Kids Fundraiser

A benefit fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, Cool Culture, Downey Side, and Junior Achievement of NY. Tickets include full buffet menu and a one hour open bar. Our friends at Certé, one of New York’s leading catering groups, are generously donating the entire menu to our fundraiser. Inspired by the 4 seasons – winter, spring, summer, fall – each season will be comprised of four hors d’oeuvres, and each hors d’oeuvre will be made of four ingredients. We’ve seen the final menu, and it looks delicious!

City Museum’s Young Members Circle Hosts 6th Annual Big Apple Bash

Location:  Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Ave
Featuring cocktails, music, and dancing on the Museum of the City of New York’s Fifth Avenue Terrace overlooking Central Park, the Big Apple Bash is an annual benefit evening organized by the City Museum’s Young Members Circle (YMC), a membership group for young New Yorkers ages 21 to 39. The event raises funds for the City Museum’s exhibitions and educational programs. Guests also enjoy private viewings of the Museum’s current shows, including Activist New York, A Beautiful Way to Go: New York’s Green-Wood Cemetery, and Making Room: New Models for Housing New Yorkers.

Connect: An Event to Benefit

Location:  New York Stock Exchange Trading Floor, 2 Broad St
Come out for drinks and dancing on the trading floor of the NYSE to support 3 charities doing work for children with special needs: Newmark Education, Hope Autism Foundation and Resources for Children with Special Needs. $75 for 3-hour open bar and hors d’oeuvres or $100 with bell podium photo.

Let’s Misbehave
Date: August 10
Location:  Wolffer Estate Vineyard, 139 Sagg Road
200 celebrities, socialites, media elite and Hamptons trendsetters will enjoy libations, supper, and dancing in the vineyard at Love Heals 17th consecutive summer Hamptons event. All proceeds from the evening directly support Love Heals’ efforts to protect the next generation of New Yorkers from HIV.

Kings County Tennis League 4th Annual Fundraiser
Date: August 15
Location:  The Dumbo Loft, 155 Water St
Come enjoy free drinks courtesy of Brooklyn Brewery and live jazz (The Austin Walker Trio) at The DumboLOFT in Brooklyn with KCTL board members, volunteers, friends and supporters. We’ll be having a raffle for great prizes (see below). Winners will be announced before the end of the evening. All ticket and raffle ticket purchases will go towards the KCTL program including: taking the kids to Arthur Ashe Kid’s Day at the USTA National Tennis Center, team uniforms, healthy snacks during practice and more!
